AFC Rushden & Diamonds are Now a Community Benefit Society

Home/English Football/AFC Rushden & Diamonds are Now a Community Benefit Society

It’s official!  AFC Rushden & Diamonds are now a community benefit society. The club’s constitution has now been accredited by the Financial Services Authority and they are now one of the first football clubs in England to be set up as a community benefit society. The constitution not only ensures that any profits made by the club must be reinvested, but protects the club by safeguarding the club from any future asset stripping.

With now over 300 members AFC Rushden & Diamonds are going from strength to strength and will be announcing a members-only forum to be held in the new year to vote on a number of important issues.

Acting Chairman Ralph Burditt announced the news exclusively on the BBC Non League show after the 1-0 victory over Daventry on Monday night.

All members as of  December 31, 2011 will be entered into a draw to win a FREE season ticket for the senior team 2012-2013, the season ticket will also be number No. 1.

Membership for 2011-2012 is £15 for adults and £5 for under 16s. You can become a member online at www.afcdiamonds.com or by post: Write to AFC Rushden & Diamonds, C/O Kiln Park, Raunds NN9 6EQ.

Don’t forget the Christmas party is being held on Friday 9th December at Kiln Park Raunds, £2 in advance or £3 at the door, under 12s are FREE.
