The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that Beaches FC (Jupiter, FL) has joined the league as an expansion team.  The club will compete in the South Region’s Sunshine Conference.

“Beaches FC is a great addition to one of our most competitive conferences,” NPSL Chairman Joe Barone commented. “As an organization they bring a lot to the table and we are excited to have them as part of the NPSL. This is a big day for our fans and supporters in Florida.”

BFC is led by Trevor Adair and Levent Guler.   Adair is the former men’s head coach at Brown University and Clemson University.  He had an impressive 57 players drafted in 14 years at Clemson, winning two ACC championships.  Adair has also been a staff instructor and scout for U.S. Soccer for nearly 30 years. He holds a USSF “A” license. Guler is a former national team player for Turkey and has appeared in 312 professional games over a 12-year playing career. He currently holds a USSF “B” license and coaches at West Boca Raton High School.

“We bring a high level of players, coaches, and facilities to the NPSL,” Adair noted. “We hope to continue to promote a high level of soccer for amateur players during the non-collegiate season.”

Home matches will be played at Benjamin Upper School.  The facility offers a FieldTurf playing surface, four locker rooms, and seating for 1,000 fans.

Beaches FC was formed to provide college soccer players the opportunity to get professional coaching during the summer months of their college offseason.  More information can be found at www.beachesfc.com or by following the club on Twitter (@BeachesFC_NPSL) and Facebook (@BeachesFC).
