FC Wichita midfielder Matt Clare has been named the 12th Mitre National Player of the Week for the 2015 NPSL season.
Clare has had a strong start to the 2015 NPSL season, registering seven goals and five assists in just seven matches.
The attacking midfielder has tallied five goals and four assists over the last nine days.
Clare is best known for his time with the Wilmington Hammerheads (USL) and Tampa Bay Rowdies (NASL). He also was a standout in the indoor game, starring for the Norfolk SharX, Syracuse Silver Knights, Wichita Wings, and Wichita B-52s.
Thanks to earning a “B” coaching license, he is now training players and teams in the Wichita area and has already sent four players on to major academies.
