The Dayton Dynamo of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) has added Ibra Baye Kébé to their roster. He is set to make his club debut Sunday.

Ali Ibrahim Kébé Baye (goes simply by Baye Kébé) joins the club with vast international soccer experience. Most notably, he played for FC Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League. There, he participated in the UEFA Champions League, widely regarded as the most prestigious club competition in the world. Kébé also played for five other clubs, including FC Anzhi Makhachkala, where he helped the club win the Russian Premier League title in 2009. In addition, he has made six appearances for the Senegal National Team.

“Honestly, I was as giddy as a school boy, when our assistant coach sent me his player info,” said Dynamo CEO David Satterwhite. “He is listed as one of the top fifty players to come out of Senegal. He has played at the highest levels in the world. His skills and knowledge of the game will also be an invaluable tool for our younger players to learn from.”

The Dynamo will be in action on Sunday, as they take on Fort Wayne in an exhibition match. Kickoff is 2 pm at Welcome Stadium. Tickets are available online and at the door.
