Growth Continues for NPSL

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce the first round of expansion teams for the 2013 season. New members include FC Sparta Michigan and the Las Vegas Stallions.  Additional clubs that have already been approved include Zanesville Athletic FC, the Cape Coral Hurricanes, Tampa Marauders FC, Miami United SC, Chesterfield United FC,  Rock City Soccer Club, the New Orleans Jesters, Virginia FC, and RVA Football Club. AFC Cleveland Lands Hardware in 1-1 Draw with Detroit

University of Akron striker Thomas Schmitt scored the equalizing goal in the 86th minute to propel AFC Cleveland to a 1-1 road draw with Detroit City FC. Cleveland found themselves down 1-0 at the half after a goal from Detroit’s Stefan St. Louis in the 23rd minute. AFC fought back and claimed a goal of their own in the final moments of the game. A goal by Case Western Reserve striker Vinny Bell was enough to earn AFC Cleveland a 1-1 draw with Detroit City FC Saturday night.
