NPSL Rebrands with New Website, App, and Logo

Editor January 13, 2016

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce a rebranding initiative that includes a new website, app, and logo.

NPSL Official Logo 2016“The NPSL has experienced a lot of growth over the years,” NPSL Chairman Joe Barone commented.  “We felt that giving the league a fresh new look was something that was needed.  We hope that our fans and supporters enjoy our new website, app, and logo.  This rebranding effort is just another example of a strong offseason for our league and member clubs.  We are all looking forward to the 2016 NPSL season.”

The league’s new website, designed by Sport Ngin, can be found at NPSL.com.

Sport Ngin’s main emphasis was to focus on scalable design and accessibility across any device. NPSL.com is a fully mobile responsive site, which includes custom player cards, game logs and stats, and social media for every single team aggregated on the home page.

The site’s design and elements will engage the user, while team pages can be customized to reflect personality of the team, their players, social media, and their individual brands.

The NPSL-branded mobile app is available now, but will become even more valuable during league play.  It is a great way for fans and supporters to follow their favorite NPSL teams, get real-time scores, and push notifications.  It is available on the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).  The app was also developed by Sport Ngin.

“We are excited to partner with the National Premier Soccer League and provide great technology solutions that will help power the league and the growing fan base of its teams for many years to come,” Sport Ngin Soccer Vice President John Weinerth added.  “The new site and league management technology pairs a fully mobile responsive site with great design and enhanced functionality.”

The new logo, designed by Fooser Sports Design, replaces a logo that was first developed in 2005 when the league expanded into a national format.

“The league wanted a logo that presented a patriotic feel without going too overboard with various American symbols,” Ryan Foose, Designer/Owner of Fooser Sports Design, concluded. “After providing concepts that used hints of eagles, abstracted flags and a more dominant use of stars, it was decided that the colors would be the real connecting factor. The four stars, located on the bottom, represent the four dividing regions of the NPSL.”

The new logo was introduced to teams at the league’s AGM in San Diego in early December.

The NPSL can be found at Booth #319 at the 2016 NSCAA Convention, which runs from January 13-17, in Baltimore.
