Cleveland United SC and Canton United SC are proud to announce that 13 of their players signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

“We are so proud of all of these amazing young men and women,” Cleveland United SC Club Director Marko Raduka stated. “This is a very talented group of student athletes that share one common trait: commitment. Their commitment to excellence is what has awarded them this next opportunity and we are excited to see their future accomplishments both on and off of the field.”

The players, their positions, and college commitments are listed below:

Stephen Radonjich (M) – Malone University
Alexis Meffert (F/M) – Walsh University
Maya Bauer (F/M) – Mercyhurst University
Sydney Bennett (D) – Gannon University
Sophia Braun (GK) – Oakland University
Catie Corrigan (F/M) – University of Akron
Juliana Markovic (M) – Ashland University
Maggie O’Donnell (M) – University of Mount Union
Emily Patterson (GK) – Lake Erie College
Rachel Repasky (D/M) – Walsh University
Ashley Rings (M/F) – University of Findlay
Amy Rogozinski (D) – University of Akron
Meliah Roman (M) – Clarion University

“My coaches were everything,” Braun added. “I couldn’t have done it without them. All of the coaches stayed after practice to help us improve. They were supportive and always offered good feedback. The club helped guide us through the process of selecting a college.”

These players will join their respective colleges this summer ahead of the 2016 fall semester.

“Compared to my last club, the environment was completely different,” Rogozinski concluded. “The United coaches are amazing. They set high expectations. They made my work ethic stronger and pushed myself and my teammates to get better. Cleveland United made me a better leader and an overall better player.”
