The top two teams from each conference (Atlantic, Keystone, Mid Atlantic) shall qualify for the playoffs. The six teams will be ranked in 1-6 seeds with the order being determined with the first seed being awarded to the team with the highest points per game during the regular season. The 1st and 2nd seeds receive a bye in the first round.

Section 1.06. Tie in Standings. In case of a tie in the final League standings, the following tiebreaker will be used.
(a) Head to head results between the tied teams.
(b) Goal difference in the head to head results.
(c)Most wins in conference competition.
(d) Goal difference in conference competition.
(e) Fewest losses in conference competition.
(f) Coin toss.
In the event of a three-way tie for a Region or Conference championship, a mini table involving only the three tied teams shall be used to determine the champion. If there is a two-team tie in the mini table, the two-team tiebreaker rules will be applied. If there is a three team tie for points in the mini tables, the first tie breaker will be “most wins in conference competition,” the second tie breaker will be “goal difference in conference competition,” the third tie breaker will be “fewest losses in conference competition.”
Section 1.06(a). Tiebreaker Rules for NPSL National Playoffs. When determining seeding for the NPSL playoffs between teams from different regions, teams will be seeded by average points. Average points is calculated by dividing the total points earned during the regular season divided by the total number of regular season games played by that team. If teams are tied in the seeding, the following tiebreaker will be used:
(a) Average Goal difference/game in regular season schedule.
(b) Average goals/game scored in regular season schedule.
(c) Coin toss.
