Admiral Partners with VSLT FC

Editor January 29, 2017

Admiral Sports is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Viejos Son Los Trapos FC, a National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) side from Saint Paul, Minnesota.

“We’re thrilled to be working with VSLT FC, an exciting and ambitious new club from the NPSL,” Admiral Sports CEO Paul Hamburger stated. “Companies choose Admiral because of the value, factory direct pricing, and a custom kit that promotes the club brand.  We also offer our clubs an online store and service that’s personal from the owners of the business. Admiral has been innovating in the soccer market since 1914 and we continue to do so here in 2017 and beyond.”

VSLTlogoVSLT FC is led by General Manager Juan Fiz and Head Coach Sebastian Molina.  They are joined by a board that includes Fabian Omana, Arresse Alejandro, Ayora Pedro, DeLaMora Alejandro, Mendez Gilberto, Pablo Landrieu, and Eduardo Cortés.

Fiz has experience as a player in the NPSL, having served as a member of the 2007 and 2008 NPSL All-Star Teams as a member of the Minnesota TwinStars, another Admiral partner club.

“We saw this as a possibility to work with a national company who give us a lot options, good prices, an online store, and the professional look that we’ve been looking for,” Fiz added.

2017 will be the club’s first season in the NPSL.  VSLT FC played in the Minnesota Amateur Soccer League last season, winning the MASL’s Division 2 with a record of 13-2-3 and boasting a +32 goal differential.  The team will play its home matches at Central Stadium in Saint Paul, a facility with seating for 5,000 spectators.

Admiral is a legendary brand, having been worn by some of the biggest names in the sporting world.  The England National Team, Manchester United, and the New York Cosmos are just some of the clubs that once donned Admiral. In fact, Admiral has supplied most of the current EPL teams in addition to being the largest brand in the original NASL.  The company, a pioneering brand in the truest sense, was recently the subject of an ITV documentary called Get Shirty.

Today Admiral is a major player in the North American and international markets.  The company is one of the largest soccer brands supplying professional teams in the U.S. in addition to supplying some of the top clubs and academies in Canada.

Admiral has also become very involved in the soccer accessories market, providing innovative products to their customers.  Admiral currently offers a wide range of accessories, including goals, bags, balls, goalkeeper gloves, referee supplies, and training equipment.
