Draft Day Sports: Pro Football 2018 (Review)

Editor October 26, 2017

Getting to be a GM or coach at a professional football team is a dream of many, and with Draft Day Sports: Pro Football 2018, it can be a dream come true.

Yes, this is a simulation for football of the American variety.  We’re talking about NFL, CFL, even the WLAF among others.  While it’s not fully licensed by those leagues, you still get the same experience.  You are in charge of everything from rosters and training to scouting and staffing.

Yes, you also take control of your team’s free agency and college draft choices.  You’ll get to experience the excitement of the war room and even the draft podium.  That’s very cool indeed.

There’s plenty of room for customization.  You can choose the league type and format as well as game specifications like overtime.  You decide the number of preseason games and the size of rosters and the salary cap.  You even have three choices on how rosters are created.

Once the games start, you take command of play-calling and other game-time decisions.

The game even features an almanac to capture all of the details about your league, including records, statistics, draft results, Pro Bowl selections, among many other items.

It’s “plug and play” in the sense that you can download the game and begin play in minutes.  The learning curve is not steep so you can be enjoying this great game in no time.

Draft Day Sports: Pro Football 2018 is an absolute bargain at $34.99 because you are buying weeks or even month of pure football bliss.  It’s better than Sunday Ticket or Monday Night Football since you are actually involved in the operation of your team, not just watching on the couch.

This is a great offering from a company that is at the forefront of simulation games for the sports community.  They have something for everyone.
