Draft Day Sports: Pro Golf (Review)

Editor October 6, 2018

Wolverine Studios has done a great job working in the niche market of sports simulation games.  They have produced loads of great titles over the years for all of the sports we love, including basketball (college and pro), football (college and pro), and golf.

Their latest offering, Draft Day Sports: Pro Golf, is a special one.  It is for casual and hardcore golf fans alike.

It offers full customization and the opportunity to do what many dream of: launch the career of a pro golfer.  You create a golfer from scratch, fine tuning their characteristics and abilities.  You decide on a tour, caddie, training schedule, even your brand of clubs and balls.

You are able to view your achievements, media, trophy case, and sponsors.  The latter can be applied to your clothing, bag, and shoes and also your pocketbook as you will need money for training and staff.

Your weekly schedule can built done day-by-day or simulated.  You have the option to train, rest, do a practice round, or play in your tour’s tournament.

Once you get everything where you want it, you get to the best part: gameplay.  The gameplay for this title is both fun and realistic.  You’ll have plenty of decisions to make with regards to shot type, club type, wind, slope, and strategy.  If you aren’t sure how to proceed just ask your caddie.

If you get bored with the career of a golfer, you can always do a quick round or design your own course.  The latter even contains tutorials on how to get the job done.

This is a golf game that will be enjoyed by many.  Hopefully you will be the next one to purchase this great title!
