A graduate midfielder from Wright State University, Persaud returns to the Dayton Dutch Lions after three seasons of professional soccer in Sweden and the Netherlands. Persaud has worn the orange colors before during the 2011 W-League season.

“We are delighted to have Brittany back at the Dayton Dutch Lions and playing in her home state again,” head coach Gavin MacLeod said. “She had a fantastic college career with Wright State and has spent the past three seasons playing at a high level in both Sweden and the Netherlands. Her technical ability and high soccer IQ, combined with her experience, will be a great asset to the squad this summer and we are looking forward to seeing her back in Orange.”

“I am happy to be able to play somewhere close to home and close to my family and friends,” Persaud said. “I am looking forward to the season with the Dayton Dutch Lions and in conversations with Coach Gavin it sounds like he has done some good work to get the team together and has great ambitions for the club.”

The Dayton Dutch Lions FC Women’s team opens the 2015 W-League season at home on May 15 at DOC Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7.00pm.  Please visit www.ddlfc.com for a full schedule or more information about DDLFC.
