The Mount Union men’s soccer team beat Franklin (Ind.) on Sunday, 3-0.
Junior goalie Dylan Lias recorded nine saves in his second career shutout in the win for the Raiders.
Mount Union (2-2-1) started the game off with a goal in the 23rd minute by sophomore Jesse Tinney off of a pass from senior Mitchell Tiah to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead.
Mount Union struck again at the 37:28 minute mark on a goal from freshman Colton Harsh, his first career goal.
The Raiders added one more goal in the 67th minute as sophomore Brendan Luebbering headed in a goal off of a headed pass from sophomore Nik Newhart to give the Raiders a 3-0 lead.
Mount Union will next host Allegheny (Pa.) on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 pm.
