The Mount Union men’s soccer team fell to Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Heidelberg 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Heidelberg (5-7-3, 3-2) struck first late in the second half when Chris Koczak weaved around defenders and found the back of the net in the 78th minute to put the Student Princes up 1-0.
Heidelberg tacked on more in the 87th minute when Isaac Bwayo broke away from the Purple Raider defense and put one just past the fingertips of Mount Union goalie Dylan Lias to extend the lead to 2-0.
Mount Union (7-5-1, 2-3) continues OAC play as it travels to Muskingum on Tuesday, October 20 at 4 pm.
