The Mount Union men’s soccer team fell to Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Ohio Northern 1-0 on Saturday night.
Ohio Northern (11-3, 3-0) got on top early in the 18th minute when David Janusz headed in the lone goal of the game off of an assist from Dustin Lorenzo to put the Polar Bears on top 1-0.
Mount Union (6-4-1, 1-2) was outshot by the Polar Bears 17-10 with eight of the Ohio Northern shots on goal opposed to Mount Union’s two.
Junior Dylan Lias collected seven saves in the match for the Purple Raiders in the loss to Ohio Northern.
Mount Union next host Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday, October 14 at 7 pm.
