The Mount Union men’s soccer team scored a 3-2 win against Waynesburg (Pa.) in the non-conference finale Tuesday evening at Mount Union Stadium.
The win snapped a four-game winless streak (1-0-3) for the Purple Raiders, who finish their non-conference schedule with a 2-3-3 record. Waynesburg falls to 2-8 on the season.

The Raiders found the back of net two additional times in the first half as junior Jesse Tinney (Heidelberg, Pa./Chartier’s Valley) and senior Kevin Blackley (Aurora/Aurora) scored in the 30th and 43rd minute respectively, as Mount Union led 3-0 at the break.
Waynesburg rallied with a pair of goals in a span of two minutes as Micah Charlick scored in the 80th minute and a Raiders own goal brought the score to 3-2 but Mount Union held on for the victory.
