Men’s Soccer: Purple Raiders Fall to Heidelberg 2-0 at Mount Union Stadium

The Mount Union men’s soccer team lost to Heidelberg 3-0 Saturday night at Mount Union Stadium.

Heidelberg (5-6, 2-1) got on the board in the 29th minute when Greg Raimondo scored off of a corner kick by Kiki Alvarado.

The teams played through the 65th minute before another point was tallied. Heidelberg’s Kyle Diaz and Rodrigo Meza recorded the team’s 2nd and 3rd goals, respectively.

The Raiders (2-6-3, 0-3) totaled 7 shots on the game and senior goalkeeper Dylan Lias (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) recorded four saves.

Mount Union hosts conference opponent Marietta on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Mount Union Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m.
