Multiple sources have reported to us that the Cleveland City Stars will be making a major announcement by the end of the week. The sale of the club will definitely be announced before the club’s End of the Year Banquet on Monday, September 21.
Unfortunately, two of our sources suggest that moving the team out of Cleveland is still a possibility. It would be a major blow for the beautiful game in Ohio.
There is a great deal of good news as indoor soccer (of the arena variety) returns to the Hall of Fame City of Canton, Ohio. Canton has a rich tradition in soccer, especially with the history behind the Canton Invaders. It will be exciting to see the Ohio Vorex play at the Canton Civic Center as part of PASL-Pro.
