The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that Ozark Futbol Club (Springdale, AR) has joined the league as an expansion team.  The club will compete in the South Region.

“It’s exciting to see our league continue to grow and expand,” NPSL Chairman Joe Barone commented. “Ozark FC will certainly help grow our league’s footprint in Arkansas.  Our fans and supporters in the region should be thrilled by this addition.”

Ozark FC is led by Co-Owner Will Broyles and Director Dacia Boehmler.

Boehmler has a long-standing history of success in the world of marketing and retail development in Northwest Arkansas.  She has a passion for the area that is unparalleled and saw the potential to bring more sports to the community, particularly a sport that really resonates with so many people.

“We anticipate fielding a strong team with a lot of area talent in one of the strongest conferences in our league,” Broyles added. “Our club will operate with the goal of making NW Arkansas a soccer powerhouse by building on the excellent development clubs’ work in the area.  There’s not a single place in the USA with as much going for it as NWA, and it should absolutely have its rightful place near the top of the sport of soccer.”

More information about the club can be found at www.ozarkfc.com or by following the club on Facebook (@OzarkFC), Twitter (@OzarkFC), and Instagram (@NWASoccer).

“There was so much interest from many of us who had participated in other NPSL clubs, that we knew it made sense to keep working to develop the sport through this tremendous avenue the league offers,” Broyles concluded. “This league has a bright future and OFC and NW Arkansas belong in that same growing movement.”
