PES 2017 Mobile (Review)

Editor June 8, 2017

We loved PES 2017 for a whole lot of reasons and PES 2017 Mobile is equally great.  It’s an incredibly robust offering with loads of features and modes.

The Campaign mode allows you to compete, win, and get promoted in a 10-match season.  The Campaign Simulation mode allows you to become a club manager in simulated matches.  Online Matches allow you to compete online against real people in real-time, while Local Matches allow you to play against friends that are nearby. You can earn points and claim rewards in Event Mode.  Squad Management allows you to build your own dream team, including your favorite manager.

First and foremost, it’s easy to grasp thanks to some incredible tutorials that teach what you need to know to get started.  Watching some for just a few minutes will get you on the pitch in no time.

The controls are incredibly natural, taking full advantage of a phone’s touchscreen. The gameplay is excellent, on par with the console version in many regards.

The graphics are absolutely amazing for a mobile game.  It’s all built from the PES console’s game engine, which brought rave reviews.  It’s a complete experience with officially licensed clubs and players and most importantly, includes the UEFA Champions League.

There’s plenty of options and lots of room for customization.  There’s even play-by-play commentary in nine languages.   PES 2017 is a can’t-miss for any football fan with a smartphone.  Simply put, Konami has put together yet another gem, one that will bring you hours and hours of entertainment.
