In their third overtime game of the season, The University of Akron (2-1-2) women’s soccer team played Youngstown State (1-3-1) to a one-all draw on Friday evening at Farmers National Bank Field. In their first game of Boilermaker Cup, Akron was unable to push a goal past the Purdue defense. Purdue’s starting goalkeeper, Clara Kridler, shutout Akron in the first half with two saves.
