The Vaqueros’ 2016 NPSL South Central Conference season came to an end on Saturday in Tulsa. The Vaqueros fell 6-0 to the new conference champions in Oklahoma to close out league play. The Athletics (11-1, 33 points in NPSL) claimed the South Central Conference title in three of the past four years. “We fought as hard as we could, but when you are not at full strength it is very difficult to compete with the number one team in the conference,” Vaqueros coach
