The Columbus Crew moved up to fourth in the Eastern Conference Saturday night thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win over the Montreal Impact in their penultimate home game of 2014. ISN’s own Rob Ivory is in Montreal to capture history, the Montreal Impact home opener at Olympic Stadium. On Thursday night Ivory attended the open house event and training session, seeing MLS veteran Jesse Marsch in action as Impact head coach. Ivory also got to see former University of Akron and Cleveland City Star goalkeeper training with Montreal as they prepare for their match against the Chicago Fire. Bush is now regarded as one of the top keepers in USSF D-II. The Cleveland City Stars lost a great deal of talent when they folded in the fall of 2009. Most fans remember the skillful play of Teteh Bangura, but many will also remember the great potential of local keeper Evan Bush. Bush served as a talented understudy to Hunter Gilstrap, but was called into action on several occassions. He would appear in 7 matches, posting 2 shutouts and a 1.285 GAA.
