The NPSL’s West Region has completed yet another exciting and successful weekend of play. FC Hasental defeated FC Santa Clarita Storm 4-1 in their second game of the 2014 NPSL season. Two goals from Armando Gaitan as well as a goal a piece from Alberto Anguiano and Agustin Cazarez sealed the victory for the home side. “We lacked movement in the final third, but our buildup and consolidation play was fun to watch,” FCH head coach Eric Warner remarked. Coombes Named National Player of the Week The National Premier Soccer League is proud to announce its fourth National Player of the Week for the 2013 regular season. The winner, for the week ending April 28th, is FC Santa Clarita Storm forward Tyler Coombes. Coombes scored both goals in a 2-1 Storm win over FC Hasental. The National Premier Soccer League is proud to announce its first National Player of the Week for the 2013 regular season. The first winner, for the week ending April 7th, is FC Hasental midfielder Armando Gaitan. As a youth, he played in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with the Los Angeles Football Club.
