Captain Named Long-serving defender Ben Austin has been named as Eastbourne Borough’s club captain for the forthcoming season. The 33-year-old arrived at Priory Lane in June 2000 from neighbours Eastbourne Town and has won numerous accolades in his decade at the club, including supporters’ and manager’s player of the year last season. Northampton Town have signed former Coventry City left back Marcus Hall on a one-year contract effective from August 1st. The 34-year old Hall has played for Marcus Hall for most of his career, making his debut in 1994. He left the club to join Nottingham Forest in the 2002-03 season, before moving to Southampton.
