The SoCal SC (0-1-0) started their inaugural season of the National Premier Soccer League with a 2-1 home defeat against North County Battalion (1-0-0) at San Gorgonio High School Stadium in San Bernardino, California. Two goals were enough for Sacramento Gold FC, as the defense stood strong and preserved a 2-0 win over the Sonoma County Sol Saturday at Santa Rosa High School.
