The Erie Admirals came away with a 2-1 win against AFC Cleveland on Sunday after a weather delay and 61 minutes of play.
“It was unfortunate that we couldn’t finish the game due to the weather,” AFC Cleveland head coach Aaron McGuiness remarked. “We played a good first half of soccer and were able to create some good opportunities.”
The lone goal from the Royals came from Riley Grant in 15th minute.
The road loss came after Cleveland defeated conference rival FC Buffalo 2-1 on Friday. AFC Cleveland now has three games remaining, all at home, as they continue their push for the playoffs.
