Mount Union’s women’s soccer team traveled to Denison and fell to the Big Red 4-0.

Denison (2-0) got on the board early as Maggie Armstrong headed in a goal off of a corner kick within the first 90 seconds of play to put Denison on top 1-0.

Denison went on to add two more goals before the half off of the foot of Meg Wozniak as she scored her first goal at the 7:27 minute mark and then added another at the 16:57 minute mark to give the Big Red a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Denison came out in the second half and added one more goal off of the foot of Jacquie Graham in the 80th minute as Denison went on to close out the Purple Raiders.

Mount Union (0-2) next travels to Kenyon on Sunday, September 6 at 1 pm.
