FC Carolina Discoveries played against Georgia Revolution FC on Thursday, June 30th and came away with an impressive 8-2 win at home. Four minutes into the match, the Discoveries seemed to have found their counterpart’s weak spot and got into the penalty area, only to come up empty. Though the team kept pushing, Georgia’s Aigbekan Nosegbe scored the first goal during the seventh minute. The Discoveries did not let this get them down, and the team kept looking for scoring opportunities
The Charlotte Independence achieved their fourth consecutive victory on Saturday, May 7 at the Ramblewood Stadium. The Independence went head-to-head with FC Montreal, who is sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings and will continue to search for their first points of the season.
