The event was hosted by the club at Pinnacle Sports in Medina, Ohio. It was attended by dozens of current players, their families, and a number of local media members.

It was a special day for all involved, including Internationals SC Director of Coaching Keri Sarver.

“We’re really excited and happy for our Class of 2017 and the choices that they made to continue their academic and athletic careers. This generation has been with our club for a while and they have represented us with class and style on and off the field: good grades in the classroom, good character off the field, and of course competitive ability. We’re excited to continue to watch them as they move on to the next level and know that they will be prepared physically and mentally to compete at that level. We can’t wait for what the future holds for them.”

This class joins over 300 ISC players that have competed at the college level.

Internationals SC Founder and President Zdravko Popovic was equally optimistic about the group’s future.

“Each and every one of them has grown and developed in a tremendous way to get to the highest level where they are right now. The unique thing is there is so much room to grow to develop. Their future will be challenging, but at the same time, a very great opportunity. They will continue on and beyond what they have accomplished here. As a team they were role models for the present generation. We are going to be better because of all of them. I certainly hope that they contribute to the balance, chemistry, and harmony of their college teams and become the same types of leaders they were here.”
