The Carolina Dynamo were crowned USASA’s National Amateur Champion Sunday at Macpherson Stadium in Greenboro, North Carolina. The four champions of USASA competition, PDL Champion, NPSL Champion, USASA Open Champion and USASA Amateur Champion took part. The Dynamo topped NPSL champion FC Sonic 1-1 (3-2) PKs. The third place game was won by USASA’s Open Champion Croatian Eagles from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They defeated USASA’s Amateur Champion Battery Park Gunners from Boston, Massachusetts 3-1.
